Good idea, rubbish in executing it
Was really excited to get this as Im a visually focused person, but found myself frustrated and disappointed.
It allows for photos, but doesnt allow for you to use photos from your library. As a new user, I dont automatically think of opening GO right away to take a picture of a meal -- Ill just take a picture of it. But GO doesnt offer the ability to add pictures into the app/timeline... You must take it as a live feed, straight to the app.
This would maybe be fair enough, if you could at least have a green generic circle WITH A DESCRIPTION WHEN YOU CLICK. The "edit" meal button allows you to delete a meal, but at no point came you name/describe even keyword it. This is also VERY unhelpful if you have a small snack/meal, because the size of the circle correlates to size of meal, so if you take a picture of a small snack you have an image the size of the tip of your index finger to look at, and since you cant name anything, a week later youll be squinting trying to figure out what you ate because its such a low quality picture (that doesnt zoom) you wont be able to tell.
Was really excited about potential of this app but wow, such a waste. Seriously, use something like Instagram instead. Youll get your visual needs, can use existing photos, have decent sized photos, and can label/describe everything.
UPDATE: July 2015 - I redownloaded this over a year later to see if it had improved. It hadnt. Waste of money, space and time.
