GO - Meal and Fitness Tracker App Reviews

Not Useful.

It’s not helpful. Its not possible add previous meals and the log actually don’t help in anything, since its lecture isn’t friendly and says nothing beyond the type of meal you are eating more often… Because it is just a recorder of meals. Something that can be made with common pictures and a Note app. It will very good if some kind of features are added to the app, like "meal (and water) reminders”, recognition, from the picture, what kind of food are, etc... something that already have in another apps. This will be great...

Best food tracking app there is!

I was so excited to find this app because it really puts your food choices in perspective. Yes, calories matter, but Ive never had success tracking calories because its so time consuming and exhausting. Now, if I eat a cookie or a couple pieces of pizza, I can look back at my week or the rest of the month and get perspective knowing that a few less than great choices arent going to blow my whole effort. Love it. This app is surely in the beginning phases but works amazingly well for where its at and Im excited to see whats to come. The team at lolo has also been awesome in answering my questions and taking suggestions. GREAT JOB!

A step beyond calorie counting

Counting calories works, but Im looking for a way to move beyond that into true mindful eating, and this app is perfect for that transition. A simple way to track eating and exercise, allowing you to think about choices before you make them and review choices over time. An excellent tool.

Brilliant!!

This is going to change my life!! Thanks lolo

Amazing concept

No gimmicks, just tracks and visualizes your progress. Highly recommend!!

Disappointed

I have a handful of Lolo apps so I was really interested in trying this one out. I liked the idea of causal calorie counting. I feel like it goes too far on the guesstimate side. Im not sure what is missing, it just feels almost too simplistic. It is somewhat easy to use and gives an idea of what portions and making better choices looks like. There is a bit of fidgeting that needs to be done to select your meal. The rotating and pulling of the dot means that often Ill rotate and pull slightly out even when I dont mean to. So the adjustments have to be pretty precise or Im fidgeting with the plate setting trying to get the right color AND size. Additionally, I recorded two days of meals. I decided to use the overview feature. The first day disappeared. Then, while I was flipping through, trying to figure out what happened that days meals disappeared. I dont feel as though the app is worth the $3 currently being charged. I shouldve waited until it went in sale for $1.

Good, but needs refinement

Ive only been using this for a couple days, so I cant comment on its effectiveness (particularly when it comes to NOT counting calories). However, it needs a couple of refinements for ease of use. 1 - you cant go back and edit entries so far as I can see. You can only delete and then reenter. Why cant I just go back and edit part of the entry (meal size, color, add or remove a picture). Why do I have to redo the whole thing? Thats annoying. 2 - when in the timeline view there appears to be no quick and easy way to get back to todays date. You have to scroll through all the days to get back to todays date. This is also annoying. These may seem like little things, but these are the little things that make me want to stop using the app and find something else. On the plus side, I love how it pairs up with the 7-min workout app. Thats cool.

Highly Recommend - Use photo capture

Bought this Christmas morning as companion to my other LoLo apps - so Ive used for 6 days. Highly recommend people use the photo capture for your meals. 1. Its the most accurate reflection of what youre actually eating. 2. Lolo did a great job scaling the photo view finder to plate size so if you say "snack" itll need to fit in the view finder circle for a snack. My Lolo Treadmill and Cycling apps are auto-updating beautifully. Cant wait to see what the Lolo folks build in next.

Cool and different.

I would love to set a reminder for myself to log my food and activities. Otherwise a great app. Will def use.

Eh

I have 9 other lolo apps and love love love all of them! When I saw the fitness/meal tracker, I did not hesitate to get it. I feel this app is just "eh". Disappointed in it. I totally get the concept and idea behind it. But I feel it is vague and so subjective. I would like a way to log exactly what I eat so I can look back to reflect on content and serving size. I just cant wrap my head around the tracking system. It would also be nice to be able to go back and add things on days past. I forgot to add some things yesterday and was unable to add them today. I love all the lolo fitness apps. This meal tracking app is disappointing for me. If I could figure out how to get my money back I would. I just dont see me using it for very long.

Fast and fun

I stopped using other meal trackers because they take so long to enter all tge ingredients. This app really lets you zoom out and see your habits. Once I got a weeks worth of data it really came alive -- the charts are super cool and its really cool to have a photo log of what youve eaten. This one is simple and you can keep it up meal after meal. Great!

Dietitian Approved! Love it

Im a dietitian and think this app is just what people need! My clients constantly struggle with accurate calorie tracking and the time required to log every detail. I agree with this app whole-heartedly! Zoom out and look at food choices over time! We all know when we eat healthy and when we dont. What we lack motivation to do so... And the reality check of looking back over days or weeks and realizing we cheat/overeat more than we think.

Love!!!

Another amazing app. Love this company. They never cease to amaze! This has really opened my eyes to a bad habit I need to work on. Thanks again lolo!

Easy to use

I’ve tried lots of calorie trackers and they are such a pain to use. This is a really interesting take on the concept. I get it and I’ve really got some good use out of it. It does make me think about my food picks and that’s what I need.

Very Unique!

Such a brilliant idea. I never would have thought it. That’s why you gotta love lolo. All you need without wasting your time entering calories. Love the graphs. It’s not just about entering your meals in seconds, the graphs let you see what you’ve been doing in seconds. Very cool!

Awesome

Ive tried a ton of different calorie tracking apps, but Ive never found anything easy enough to use every day until I tried lolo go.

There goes $3

Dont bother! Unbelievably ridiculously simple and not at all useful. Get a pen and paper instead, its cheaper. Literally all this does it let you rate your meal, red, yellow or green (which you choose yourself with no guidance) and say how big the meal was. Thats it! Also, the app froze and crashed when i tried to register. Useless and avoid. Im pretty sure all these positive reviews were planted by lolo.

Best photo food journal I’ve used!

I have tried to lose weight for years and I use to use a calorie tracker until my doctor recommended I just snap pictures of my meals and look back at my actual behavior over a week. It has been really helpful to keep me accountable. This app takes the photo food log one step further with a great way to look at my habits over time. I would like to see the ability to have it remind me when I forget to log a meal. Otherwise well done!

Terrible

This thing crashes before I could even create an account. Waste of money. I was pretty excited to use it and it doesnt even open up. Save your money people. Using iPhone 5s

Not Impressed

I understand the concept and I like how simple this app is to use but it really doesnt give me enough information about my food intake. It is very helpful to track the times you eat but thats all I have found helpful. Sorry I spent $2.99. I really wanted to like it.
